If its only starting with starter fluid then you are missing fuel. Most common is the fuel pump and this needs to be checked .

Ok how would I do that
Automotive Expert
Need to see if there is fuel getting to the plugs and injectors would need a fuel pressure tester.

Ok I know there isn’t fuel isn’t I can feel it in the gas pedal there’s no pressure when I step on it
Automotive Expert
Ok no you need to see what the pressure is going to the injectors if there is any at all. If there is not it would be a fuel pump or wiring issue. So this is where you need focus.

Ok

How many miles per gallon does my car get?
Hi there, thanks for writing in. Maximum fuel economy is typically in the 45-65 MPH range. Above 65 MPH, fuel economy falls off dramatically due to wind resistance. Below 45 MPH, engine gearing is not conducive to maximum efficiency but...
Heater still blowing cold air?
When cooling systems are re-filled (after thermostat replacement for example) air can get trapped and that trapped air can prevent normal circulation of coolant. That, and low coolant level, would be the first things to check. If no problem is...

Mixing red coolant with green coolant
Hi Justin. Thanks for contacting us today. It's not recommended to mix red and green coolant, as the two different coolant mixtures have different maximum heat 'boiling points'. As coolant heats up, it expands. If it's not properly mixed with...
Car stalls and shoots white smoke/ smell of gas in car, jerking when accelerating, losing power at idle, no check engine light
Hi Jacolby. Thanks for contacting us today. There are a few possible sources of your problem, but in most cases, white smoke is an indication of a blown head gasket. This can also be the reason for the lack of...
