Q: Major oil leak

asked by on February 13, 2016

I have a major oil leak.

Hi. Large oil leaks can be difficult to pinpoint because they get all over the undercarriage. The best way to find a leak is to clean off the engine and then add dye to the system. Running the engine with the dye installed will reveal the source of the leak. A trained professional, such as one from YourMechanic, can diagnose the leak’s location.
