Hello, my name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* I'm sorry to hear about problem. Ignore phone call prompt and there may be short delay between replies.

This usually means the stabilizer bushings are worn out. You can put vehicle on ramps, grab sway bar by bushing and try to see if you can wiggle it, if so this would verify they are worn and need to be replaced. At a shop this is around a $300 repair. Let me know if you have questions or if there is anything else I can do to help, thanks.

On a jeep renegade?
Automotive Expert
Yes, give me a minute and I'll get you a diagram.

The clunking knocking comes from front area only when I go over bumps or uneven roads... it's not struts?Or the control arm?
Automotive Expert
It could be but about a 90% it is stabilizer bushings. It looks like manual doesn't have photos but grab stabilizer bar near the bushings and see if you can find play, if so replace. Let me know how it goes or if you have questions, thanks.

Also recently started hearing a squealing noise after driving for a while... it happens without me pressing the break, I first thought it was coming from the break, but it when I accelerate as well as breakWhat do you think that is?
Automotive Expert
Does noise change at all while braking, turning, or accelerating?

No
Automotive Expert
Does noise only happen while moving?

It's the same noise, but doesn't happen when I back up just when going forward
Automotive Expert
I think having brakes checked would be a good place to start.

Think it could be the calipers?
Automotive Expert
No, probably just worn pads or debrist stuck between pads and rotors.

Thank you

Seat belt not working.
More than likely the buckle needs to be replaced. It's unsafe and illegal to drive without a seatbelt, so I suggest you get this fixed as soon as possible. Any qualified mechanical, like one from YourMechanic, can handle this task...

engine wont restart when hot, no spark P0340 has 12v on both connectors, freq from 5-11hz when cranking
Since the crank position sensor gets its timing signal off the damper, I would first replace the damper to be sure timing was correct. The fact that this failure occurs after a "heat soak" cycle, and the P0340 code is...

I'm curious how long the vacuum pump replacement will take on my VW Beetle
I will not get into the "misinformation" aspect but the engine most certainly does not have to be removed to replace the vacuum pump (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/brake-vacuum-pump-replacement) in a Beetle or any other VW product with the same 2.5 ltr 5 cylinder....
How long as does an automatic gearbox/ transmission last ?
Most automatic transmissions these days are pretty trouble free for about 120 to 150 thousand miles. After that all bets are off. I have seen plenty of cars go well past 200 thousand without problems. If you have one of...
