I’m very sorry that you’re having this issue and together, we will get this figured out. I will need your help too because I can’t see, touch, hear or smell anything that’s going on with your vehicle. We may also require some specialized testing tools in order to assist us in diagnosing the problems due to the complexity of today’s vehicles. Please let me know when you are satisfied with my answers too so we can close out your question. You need to begin with checking for codes in the computer. Then we need to check the torque converter due to stalling when put into gear, drive or reverse. You also need to check oil level and oil pressure with a gauge. This can also be caused by a safe mode to not drive without oil/pressure. These testing tools are at you parts store for loan/rent. How do I check the codes on the car I'm a female so I'm really not sure what to be looking for

Okay, then this can get a bit complex. A scan tool needs to be attached to the computer system. Most parts stores will check codes for free, but the other potential items I mentioned would be requiring a shop. You can also call AAA and BBB for a quality shop referral.
