Hello. Anytime there is a cylinder misfire it is a serious issue. The problem may be from a bad spark plug or ignition coil, or it can be more serious such as an internal engine problem. Either way, the issue needs to be fixed, because over time it will cause damage to other parts of the vehicle such as the catalytic converter. I usually start by removing and inspecting the spark plug and ignition coil and testing them. I will also do a compression test just to verify that the engine is good internally.
