Q: Ignition coil needs replacing

I am thinking the ignition coil needs to be replaced. The car is misfiring and the Service Engine Soon light is coming on.

Hi there. A misfire in an engine can be due to a faulty ignition coil, spark plus, distributor, or spark plug wires. Have a mechanic, such as one from YourMechanic, run a diagnostic check on the misfiring issue to correctly identify the cause of the misfire.
