I took my car to get a tuneup. The mechanic did a 90,000 mile tuneup service when I delivered my car it had 106,000 miles on it. I was charged $499 for the tuneup, in which consisted of a oil change apparently. It's been about two months since my car has been serviced by the company. And has been running a little rough. I went to Walmart to get an oil change and figured that's what it could be. Walmart decline to do my oil change due to the drain plugs being stripped and my oil was leaking. They stated that the shop who had worked on my car before them stripped the drain plug by putting it in crooked or tightening it too tight now I want it fixed but I do not want the same shop to work on it. I want to make sure I was not over charged with what they did and what I can do in regards to the stripped drain plug.
My car has 108000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
