Q: I have a dodge nitro 2011 well lately sometimes I when I go to put my truck in drive it won't shift at all so I'll put it in park

asked by on August 02, 2017

My truck won't shift out of first gear, at first you was able to throw it in park turn it off and turn it back on and it would work fine now it's not shifting at all, took me almost 30 mins to get home because I couldn't go faster then 15. I had got the computer hooked up to it, it said incorrect gear ratio. But I'm clueless to this, oh and my truck doesn't have a dipstick to even check the transmission fluid

My car has 100360 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
