I have a 2000 dodge Durango 5.9 litre, V8. Before I replaced the head gaskets it noticeably spewed out antifreeze from the block on the passenger side front when it got to operating temperatures nonetheless, it did not smoke like it does now after replacing head gaskets. The exhaust manifold gaskets were replaced also. This mysterious smoke develops even before the vehicle reach operating temperatures. The smoke seems to be noticeable from the driver side of the V8. The kicker is that this began after I replaced the passenger side head gasket thus I proceeded to address the drivers side head gasket with no avail. Does anyone have any idea where this mysterious smoke is coming from after almost just a minute or so of running with no over heating. It's not a fuel smell.
