Q: I have a 1995 5.8 liter econoline van that is not maintaining fuel pressure on the fuel rail.l
The fuel pressure on my fuel rail drops to zero after the fuel pump cycles. Van will try to start then sputter and die. I replaced the fuel pressure regulator, fuel pump, and fuel filter. Thought it might be a leaking injector so I pulled the return fuel line off and blocked the flow to see if it still leaked down. It held pressure when blocked. Fuel pressure line holds at 80 psi. Looking to the idle air valve now. Thoughts??
