Q: How much to fix a fan clutch

asked by on

Fan clutch fix.

My car has 214 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hi there. The fan clutch controls how quickly the cooling fan spins against the radiator. The hotter the engine gets, the more the fan has to spin. If the fan clutch is not functioning correctly, the fan won’t spin at the right speed and therefore can’t provide the cooling needed. It could spin too much and waste power coming from the engine, or spin too little and not cool the engine enough. In order to provide you with an accurate quote, we need a bit more information. Please submit a request for a fan clutch replacement for your Mercedes-Benz and we’ll send you an accurate quote.
