How do you use the remote to lock the doors?

You don’t have to use the auto functionality of your Intelligent Key to lock the doors. You can use the remote to do so. Here’s how:

  1. Make sure the car is in park.

  2. Make sure the ignition is off (set to lock).

  3. Make sure all the doors and the trunk are closed.

  4. Press the lock button on the remote.

  5. All the doors should lock.

  6. Watch for the hazard lights to flash twice and listen for the horn to honk.
