Q: How do you reset the mileage gauge on the dashboard

You should have a "select/reset" knob up in the right hand corner of your dash that will allow you to click and scroll through the various displays such as instant fuel economy, odometer, trip meter, outside temperature. Be sure the vehicle is in park when doing this. When you get to the fuel economy display, you should be able to hold the reset knob down for 3-5 seconds to reset.
