How do you lock or unlock with the key?

A: Your car doors can be locked from the insid...

Your car doors can be locked from the inside or with the remote, but they can also be locked with the car key. Here’s how:

  1. Close the door

  2. Insert the key into the door lock

  3. Turn the key to the right to lock it

  4. Turn the key to the left to unlock it

Tips

  • Locking the driver side door with the key will actually lock all the other doors.

  • If a door is open, you cannot use the key to lock the doors. You’ll need to shut the open door first.

  • Turn the key to the left twice to unlock all the doors from the driver side.
