Q: How do I bypass the heater core?

asked by on

Because my car is leaking I need to bypass the heater core but I don't know which hose goes to the heater,

My car has 200000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

There are two hoses that go to the heater core on the firewall, these two hoses would need to be hooked together. This is the only way to bypass the heater. If you need some assistance with this, consider enlisting a certified mechanic who can diagnose your leak and assist you with your heater core.
