Hello! I'd be more than happy to help.
It could be a bad oil leak that is causing the oil to spray all over the [exhaust](/topics-exhaust/) at higher rpms and higher speeds which would cause a burning smell and smoke. more than likely the oil pan gasket.
In order to find the oil leak you'll first have to clean the bottom of the engine. I would also recommend checking the oil level of the engine.

Yes! Absolutely it could be a broken gasket. Determining where the gasket is can be the problem if the entire bottom of the car is covered in oil.

Are you able to pull the dipstick out of the transmission? It should be labeled. if the fluid is a dark red color and smells burnt then its more than likely slipping and needs to be rebuilt.

That could be caused by many different things. You will need a scan tool in order to check why the check engine light is on. Hopefully, the transmission is just low on fluid and if that's the case that may be the only problem!
