Hello I'm Rick from justanswer, sorry to hear about your Honda issues as I know how frustrating this can be, if you see a phone call request you may disregard that....did any egr valve codes come up as well?

no, there was just one additional code, random misfiresThe check engin light first flashes, then comes on solidFrom what I found on the Internet the problem most likely is the PCV valve or a vaccum hose.
Automotive Expert
It's possible, you have a vaccum leak, you can spray some brake clean around the vacuum lines and see if the idle picks up..if not , it could be timing

That's what it feels like. If it were the old school car with a distributor I'd be looking for a loose distributor or vaccum hose. Problem is on this car I don't know where those hoses are.Any chance you can send me a diagram of the layout of those hoses?
Automotive Expert
Im on my mobile at the moment, when I get to my laptop I can...in meantime you can probably do a Google on your layout probably something out there if it would save you some time

Ok, np Are they going to be visible without removing the engine cover?
Automotive Expert
you should be able to see most of them

My car feels like it's having trouble starting. I took it to someone and they ruled out the starter, battery, and alternator.
