It sounds like there is a missfire to know for sure you will need to get a scan, there will be some codes in the computer, we need to get those codes with a scanner if you dont have access to a scanner you can get a free scan at the local auto parts store, and they also rent them, sometimes they dont have strong enough scanners if no codes are produced it will need to go to a shop or you will need to purchase a scanner and those start at $100

There are no auto shops nearby and I'm in the middle of the road which is why I seek online help

pop the hood and check for loose wires and connections to battery, anything loose or out of the ordinary if thats ok you will need to get some tools to diagnose the vehicle then, or have it towed to the house so you can work on it there
