The compressor nor blower relay is turning on. It was working fine all day and I went to the store came back out and out of nowhere it stopped workingIt was cold and blowing perfectly

If you jump the [ac compressor](/topics-ac-compressor-honda/) will it blow cold? The blower motor itself is not getting power and ground from the blower relay? Is this a manual ac control system or electronic/digital system?

I checked the electrical on the ac relay and that showed currentI dont know how to jump an ac compressor
Automotive Expert
You will need to run a diagnostic check for codes on the engine and ac system first. It can be a faulty pressure switch issue. You will need to verify the ECU is getting a signal to from the ac on switch to ground the ac clutch relay. The blower motor should work regardless of the compressor.

Okay thank you the ac is only 3 years old I got a whole new ac unit clutch relay, compressor, etc
Automotive Expert
You are replacing those parts or already have and now it wont work?

I replaced all those parts 3 years ago so the ac isn't old at allI'm replacing the relay rn
Automotive Expert
Ok just checking. If it is full of freon, you need to test the electrical system as I mentioned. Check for codes, verify the ecu is getting a signal to turn the ac on. Test the fuses for the ac system. The blower is not related to the compressor circuit so it should work on its own. You will need to test both circuits.

Thank I will

Outside lights started to blink - 2005 Volvo S60
Hello there. Blinking lights are caused by several different faults with your 2005 Volvo S60. Changing my water pump What sequence should I remove the belts in and how would I go about that?
If you're going to replace the belts, which is what I recommend, you just start with the outermost belt and work your way back. Off the top of my head I believe the water pump belt is the last one...

Based on your description, I am almost positive that your alternator has failed. The alternators job is to charge the battery while the engine is running so that it has enough charge to restart the vehicle later. The message battery...

Truck won’t start and I installed a new battery, I get power but once I try to crank the truck I loose all power.
It sounds like you may have a weak battery, a failing voltage regulator or failing alternator. As you may know, the alternator charges the battery while the engine runs by generating amperage and recharging the battery while the engine turns...
