Q: Fuel Pressure Regulator

asked by on

Good Evening,

Can a fuel pressure regulator be cleaned? If so - what's a good product (carb cleaner / mass air flow cleaner)?

Thx

Hi there. Usually it is better to replace the fuel pressure regulator as opposed to trying to clean; as it’s nearly impossible to remove the deposits trapped inside the housing. If you remove the regulator, you can use a carburetor cleaner solvent to attempt to complete this process; but not certain how effective it will clean.
