My engine won't start, it makes absolutely no noise when I try to start it. No clicks or any sounds from engine or anything. I checked the starter and it's not bad. The battery is also brand new, only 3 days old. My mechanic said that it could be a faulty ibs sensor but he's not 100% sure. I am able rotate the engine manually although I didn't take out the spark plugs, not sure if that is a factor. Can a faulty ibs sensor not allow the engine to turn over and not even make any noise? What causes a ibs sensor to malfunction? My car was running fine although it did have a rough start before it died. I stopped at a gas station for less than a minute and was going to start the car and like I said the car made no noise.
