Q: Thermostat and odometer

asked by on December 13, 2016

I recently went to Autozone to get the testing on my engine light. While we were checking it we realized my odometer was not showing the mileage. The test said my thermostat needed to be fixed. Could that have anything to do with the odometer failing? Could the two problems be related? Or could that be some other issue?

My car has 111000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
