The pcv valve connects to a two bolt black tower I don't know what it is also, has the secondary air connected to it too.
Do u know what it is?
My car has an automatic transmission.
The PCV valve (mounted through a grommet in the valve cover) connects to a plastic "stand-off" that is mounted to the intake manifold. That "stand-off" that you are referring to is a plastic connector and has no purpose other than to connect the PCV to the manifold. There is another black tower held on to the manifold by two bolts but that is the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge solenoid valve and is not connected to the PCV "plumbing".
