Q: Does putting my car into accessory mode count as a key cycle on a scanner?

asked by on

Just was curious if a key cycle is considered the vehicle into accessory mode and back off or does this mean I have to turn the ignition all the way on and back off to get one key cycle.

My car has 37000 miles.
My car has a manual transmission.

You have to turn it to on all the way to count as a key on cycle and then back to off for one key cycle.
