I would just like to know if a 99 GMC Sonoma has an electric fuel pump or a mechanical fuel pump

My car has 170000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hello, The 1999 GMC Sonoma should have an electrical fuel pump. You should be able to hear the fuel pump come on when you turn the key to the "on" position during it’s priming phase prior to starting the engine.
