Sounds like you have had a clutch plate failure. Does it make any noise above normal when you try drive? Gary

No it doesn't go anywhere it goes in and out of gear just fine no slipping no play in the clutch I pushed the clutch to the floor has tension I put it in gear I release the clutch and it doesn't move and it's still in gearAre you going to call

Your call payment hasn't gone through. Your clutch operation is what usually happens when the clutch plate linings falls off. You get no drive. Or you have a broken shaft in the transmission. Usually you would hear some noise if the 2nd scenario is your case here. Gary

Where would the clutch plate linings be located

Here is a simple explanation of how a clutch works: [https://www.howacarworks.com/basics/how-a-car-clutch-works#:~:text=Most%20cars%20use%20a%20friction,power%2C%20the%20clutch%20is%20engaged.&text=When%20the%20clutch%20is%20disengaged,which%20releases%20the%20clamping%20pressure.](https://www.howacarworks.com/basics/how-a-car-clutch-works#:~:text=Most%20cars%20use%20a%20friction,power%2C%20the%20clutch%20is%20engaged.&text=When%20the%20clutch%20is%20disengaged,which%20releases%20the%20clamping%20pressure.) I would say you need to have your vehicle towed to your nearest workshop for repair. I wish you well moving forward. Gary
