Q: difficulty installing ball joint into knuckle on dodge caliber

asked by on September 26, 2017

I am having difficulty installing the lower ball joint on the steering knuckle of my 2009 dodge caliber. I have looked on youtube for assistance, but all of those videos showed the installation being easy. I attempted to use a c clamp to press it in, as well as using a pry bar to try and open up the space on the knuckle some more.

My car has 130000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
