Hi and good morning. Can you press the brake pedal and check the brake light comes ON when they come on press to start , use a friend to check that the brake lights come on or not. Greg Does it report in the dash **No keyfob Detected?**

Doing it nowit did report key fob not detected
Automotive Expert
You may have to use a little more force with pressing the brake pedal to get the brake lights to come on so you can start

The brake lights came on but won’t start
Automotive Expert
Okay sit in the car door closed press the brake pedal and hold the key fon to the start button then try to start looks like the battery in the keyfob has failed https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8\_9atCLMwpI Greg

It’s flashung now
Automotive Expert
Try to start as said by holding the keyfob to the start button then press to start.

My battery went dead doing this ..but it's not the key fobI googled it may be the throttle bodyI have a red lighting bolt in parentheses
Automotive Expert
Okay with a dead battery this can happen and trip all the codes so a new or fully charged battery should be fitted and then tried to start. The Throttle body is with the icon a red lighting bolt but would still crank and start only you would have an accelerating issue. So new battery first? Greg Wait so you have [engine](/topics-engine-chrysler/) cranks but no start
