Have you tried the 30 minute relearn a few times sometime it take 3 or 4 cycles to reset

Have you scanned the bcm and the security module for fault codes?

I have a scanner but not a great one tried to scan it no codes popped up

it needs to be more of a prograde tool a generic engine only tool will never do it usually its a failed key cylinder/ passlock sensor

Saw about a transmitter toogle switch can't locate in 2007 chevy Malibu. Supposed to turn it off and on while key is in on position. Any idea where that is locatedCould probably borrow one. Is the key cylinder passlock sensor by the ignition I'm guessingDo I get a whole different key cylinder or is that not the same part

there is no toggle switch

It did start and run once since it was back together. Speedometer cluster was not working radio was off and car lock. Stayed on solidWhen I got home tried to disconnect battery since then it wouldn't start againThe battery is reconnected now of courseThought tomorrow would continue to do ten minutes on then off and cycle that three or four more times unless you have a better idea
