Car seats won't move; is it due to fuses or relay?
Hello. If the seat functions stopped all of a sudden then you either have a blown fuse (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/fuse-replacement) or a bad circuit breaker. Both are common issues, especially if something is failing in the seat. I would usually check the...
Car shuts off, the engine runs in park
Hi! You may be experiencing an issue caused by the idle air control (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/idle-control-valve-replacement), the fuel injector (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/fuel-injector-replacement), or EGR valve (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/exhaust-gas-recirculation-egr-valve-replacement). Would cold temperatures make my service all wheel drive system warning come on? 2012 GMC Terrain
Hi there - while a big drop in temperatures shouldn't cause a service light per se, cold temperatures DO have an effect on electrical connections (https://www.yourmechanic.com/question/experiencing-electrical-problems-in-cold-weather), and a connection problem may be the case here. You need the actual problem...
Noise from front end after a tire rotation. It sounds like four clacks and happens once each time the wheels make a full rotation.
Hi there. The noise is coming from the lug nuts. Check all of the lug nuts and make sure that they are tight. If the lug nuts (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/rotate-tires) are tight, then look at the center of the wheel and make...
Can you help? My car stopped starting.
Hi there. Check the spark plugs and wires to see if the engine is getting any spark to the cylinders. If there is no spark and the spark plugs (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/spark-plugs-replacement) are white in color, then I recommend replacing the spark...
car overheated.fixed cylinderhead gasket replaced sparks n wires cant get it running

Engine turning over, but won't fully start.
Happy Memorial Day! The clicking sound typically relates to a weak battery (a rapid clicking sound) or a faulty starter solenoid (a more pronounced and slower clicking sound). The starter solenoid (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/starter-replacement) is located on the starter and has internal...
