Q: Car wont turn on

My car has been sitting for a while, so i put my other cars battery in it to turn it and nothing. My alarm went off and it recognizes that there is a key in the egnition but no lights turn on in the dash or cluster. It still cranks and i filled the gas tank last time i drove it. Any help would be appreciated
