Q: Car won't start due to possible bad battery.

asked by on

My car won't start. I am thinking that it may be the battery.

A quick check would be to have the vehicle jump started and if it starts then a dead battery is the cause. The battery could be dead because it was not recharged or was killed by an alternator short. The system should be checked for a bad battery and charging system issues.
