Q: Car won't exceed 100mph on the highway don't know why

asked by on October 23, 2016

Since I had this juke my car wouldn't go above 100mph don't know have changed the transmission oil and engine oil but still the problem keeps on persisting

My car has 42000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.

Hello. The manufacturer limits the top speed of the vehicle as a safety. The only way to be able to increase this is to reprogram the computer. This would have to be done with a custom program. There are some online companies that offer this as you cannot get it done at a shop or maybe even at the dealer.
