Q: Car window stuck down half way

asked by on

The window in the back passenger's side is stuck down about half way. I think the regulator might be broken.

Hi. When you push the window switch, power flows to a the corresponding window motor. The motor then raises/lowers the regulator, which is a scissor-type lift that attaches to the window. The power window motors and regulators are known for failing on these vehicles. Removing the door panel for the window inspection will determine what needs to be replaced.
