Recently I was moving my car up while at work. At first when I backed out of my original parking spot everything was fine, however I made a sharp left into the next spot at the front and out of nowhere my charger started flashing “service power steering system”. From where I can hear there are no grinding, squealing, or screeching noises, it just really hard to turn the wheel. Mechanic's Assistant: When was the fluid last checked? Have you heard any whining noises while turning the wheel? No ma’am and I believe about two months ago when I last had an oil change. Mechanic's Assistant: What year is your Charger? 2013 Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Charger yourself? What have you tried so far? No ma’am I haven’t tried anything besides driving it about 13 minutes from work to home but just to get it to my apartment Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you? No ma’am

I help many customers, so sometimes my replies are delayed, I will respond once available. Hello my name is \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* steering assist did pretty good as far as straight roads were turns were a bit rough and I'm not sure
Automotive Expert
Hello, Tee Thanks, \*\*\*\*\* \*\*\*\*\* for this can be a wiring issue like a break in the power or ground wire for the electric steering motor on the rack and pinion or the electronic steering module on the steering column. It can also be one of those 2 components mentioned prior that has failed. The motor is the more common failure. A scan tool to get the codes is the must-do next step. Thank you for seeking us for help, I hope I provided what was needed. Press reply if you need to follow up. If you liked my answer please let me know so I can mark your question complete. Moose

You should not need more than 1 quart of flush. The brand does not matter. They are all made from the same chemicals.
Our 2000 dodge durango tries to turn over, but won't start. We already replaced coils and spark plugs
The blinker malfunction is probably a coincidence. High fuel consumption could be related to the no start issue, particularly if faulty engine management controls, or sensors, are at issue. Basically, inasmuch as the car will just flat out not start...
