Q: alarm won't stop car won't start

asked by on

just bought battery alarm won't stop car won't go off
My car has an automatic transmission.

You may want to try closing all the doors, then putting the key in the drivers door lock and locking then unlocking the vehicle. You an also try putting the key in the ignition and trying to start the vehicle. Sometimes it needs to be in a similar state as when you first removed the battery. If you are still having trouble, a certified technician, like one from YourMechanic, will be able to diagnose your starting issue and reset the system for you.
