Louis is coming from around the area where the water pump and it's leaking Mechanic's Assistant: What part of the car is the leak coming from? And are you sure it's water? Sure it's water because when I put water in the radiator I see the water from that area Mechanic's Assistant: What is the make/model/year of your car? 2000 Acura TL 3.20 Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your TL yourself? What have you tried so far? Well I tried to put some stuff but that ain't too good for the car so now I'm scared to face it I have the tools something like I might have to put it in the shop Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the Mechanic to know before I connect you? Will it be good if I put a new water pump on it should I put a new radiator and should I flush it

Thank you for the clarification, Please give me one moment to type out some information for you. Sit tight one minute. I'll be right back ! Thank you for holding, In order to remove and replace the water pump, you are going to need to remove the timing belt, and if the timing belt has not been recently charged it would be a good idea to replace it as well when replacing the water pump. If you have added a stop leak to the cooling system then yes, you are going to want to flush the cooling system including the radiator. See the water pump replacement steps in this link. Possible oil pan puncture
A check of the underneath will be needed to diagnose the damage. If it is the oil pan, then a new pan would be needed, along with a new gasket and a fresh oil change. I recommend having a mechanic,...
Hesitation when accelerating.

Car shakes during acceleration and jerks to the right
If the engine shakes on acceleration even in neutral, then there is an imbalance in the rotating assembly of the engine. This could be caused by an engine peripheral such as an alternator or water pump or an issue with...
hydraulic clutch stuck in gear
Hello. I suggest checking the shift linkages and the hydraulics of the clutch system. When putting the engine back in, the shift linkages may have been put back out of adjustment, or air could have been trapped in the clutch fluid. Bleeding...
Clutch and revvs
This sounds like your clutch needs replacing. I can't really advise you very well because I don't know the year of your car. If your car does actually have 17,000, I would take it back to the dealer, assuming you...
Loss of power
Hi, thanks for writing in. I would start with checking things such as the O2 sensor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-oxygen-sensor) and mass airflow sensor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/symptoms-of-a-bad-or-failing-mass-airflow-sensor). I want to know if i should buy this car for $700 or just wait it out.
If the vehicle only needs a new axle (CV driveshaft) and a new radiator, the price is only "average". However, if there are any other defects at all, particularly significant corrosion on the brake and fuel lines, at $700 you...

Hi there. Unfortunately, we don't offer mechanical tips or advice; or service off-road vehicles. You might be better served to search online for snowmobile performance shops or online forums to receive the advice you're looking for. Thanks.
