Q: About injectors

asked by on

What will do engine if injectors throw less fuel in piston?

Hello. You may have a hard start in the morning worse than when the engine is warm. You may have hesitations from a stop on take off. You may get a lean surge when cruising down the highway. You may get a Check Engine Light with system lean codes like code P0171 or other lean system codes depending on the engine and vehicle year. If the injectors get real bad then you may get misfires and misfire codes. A certified professional from YourMechanic can diagnose the misfire firsthand and proceed with proper repairs.
