On reviewing invoices and then time-line, I am thinking I was overcharged. Basically charted a call to tell me what was wrong and then what I think was an unnecessary second call. Jean was able to do my appointment about 2 hrs early and was done way before the scheduled appt. I think the repair could have been done in one visit, given I have an auotparts store with in a mile or so and the second visit took all of 30 minutes to replace. A part which Jean even stated probably didn't need to be replaced. The right thing to do is to refund one visit. I will be using another mechanic in the future.

Jean finished an appt early so he called to see if he could come early. That was great. He listened to what I said and he checked and confirmed it was the problem. He was completed within 30 mins of arriving. He provided recommendations and an estimate for other items as well.
