I was not there but he texted me and answered reasonably fast for having to text (which I know can be annoying). He seemed to spot the issues and knew what was wrong. My brother did speak to him as well and said was good! Thanks!

This was my first time having work done through YourMechanic & I will definitely again in the future. The entire experience was extremely easy & required very little of me. The price was reasonable & the mechanic was friendly, knowledgeable, & punctual.

Great guy. He made sure that the starter we wanted replaced was actually the problem by checking the other electrical components as well. And he did all this while I was gone, giving me many updates on the phone as he progressed. No ad-on costs either...the price that was quoted was the price I paid. Love this guy.

Ian was friendly, fast, and quite competent. The service was reasonably priced and easily understood. Upon completion, he went throughout the car and suggested the rear brakes needed to be replaced and I would receive a bid for parts and labor via email. The next morning, his bid was -as expected- in my inbox. I intend to follow up as time and circumstances allow. I have recommended Ian to several friends; the YourMechanic model appears favorably received and I expect others will avail themselves of the need and convenience of mechanics who make "house calls", especially by Ian.

Answers to common Nissan questions

Paint in a really bad state, can it be fixed?
Answered by Michael
The reason paint on new cars chips more easily today than it did in the past is because the paint is more environmentally friendly. Traditionally, the majority of car paints were lead-based, but today paints are water-based, which increases the...
Windshield cracked randomly, is it safe to drive?
Answered by Derek
The windshield issue in your car is common enough for many owners to make the same comment. While Nissan does not currently offer any bulletins or recalls about the issue, nor is there any known cause, it is recommended to...
Too many vibrations when i’m driving on the road
Answered by Michael
Since you've noticed there have been vibrations with the continuously variable transmission (CVT) since you got it serviced, were there any other services performed at that time such as new tire installation or wheel rotation/balancing? If the wheels were balanced,...
Lots of rust on a newish car, what happened?
Answered by Derek
Unfortunately, there is no stop to rust. It happens to all cars that are regularly exposed to the elements, but some parts of the country are worse than others. But don’t worry, Nissan is aware of the issue and has...
