I flew out from Texas to Hunington Beach, California to purchase a Land Rover. James met me right on scheduled time to do a PPI. He did a fabulous job, checked thoroughly things I would never known to do. He included me in the test drive using that time to discuss the vehicle, common issues known of the vehicle, maintenance, recommendations. I felt fully informed to make the decision to purchase with all my questions and concerns professionally answered. THANK YOU JAMES!!! GOD BLESS!

I recently had a shady AAA battery installer who installed a new battery with one of the negative connection to the battery not tighten correctly. After a couple of days driving my car will not start and battery is basically drained (so I was told by AAA technician). So, I called AAA the second time, the same technician now tells me that my alternator is bad. He then gave me 2 shops to call and told me that the first one would replace the battery for me (the one that is close by his office.....). He then asked me if I wanted to get it tow right then and there. I told him "no", since my car was parked at my house. Something is just not right in my mind. So I went ahead and bought an alternator and booked James W. with YourMechanic. He came and did an inspection before he starts to disassemble anything. Sure enough, my suspicion was correct there is nothing wrong with my alternator. James W. saved me hundreds by doing the inspections first. He is very professional, polite and very knowledgeable. I would definitely have him perform all my future repairs. If you live in the Orange County California area, you should definitely have him service your car. He is especially knowledgeable with European cars. My is a Range Rover.

As for the high pitched noise you may have a serpentine belt or belt tensioner that needs replacement. As for the transmission issue, these vehicles have electronic transmissions. With that considered there could potentially be an electrical issue within the...
Car overheating after losing green fluid from radiator.
Answered by Evan
The green fluid on the side of the radiator could just be from the cap being left off. It also could be from a leak. I believe your car overheated because while driving with the cap off of the radiator...
