Explained everything with me, test drove vehicle and double checked everything telling me why perhaps this occurred. Very outgoing and pleasant. Was not rushed and took his time to access the situation and listen to what I had to say about my brakes prior to having the pads and rotors replaced. Respected my views as I have owned these types of cars for over 30 years and not entirely ignorant to the workings of a Mercedes.

One of the best I have met, clearly explained everything to me, (female), showed me what was going on with my car and how it should be corrected. Met my husband and also kept him informed of what he was doing to correct the problem. It's too bad he had to correct work another mechanic had done. He should have been assigned to do it the first time. He was on time, left the area clean and I couldn't ask for a better mechanic. Will ask for him next time for my other vehicle.

Jose was actually early which was appreciated. He was ready to work and hopped right to it. He said it would be 2 hours but he was done slightly sooner which was also nice. He explained all that he did afterwards. The car drove like a dream (again). Thx Jose!!!

Car starts, then won't restart, then starts again
Answered by Reggie
Hi thanks for the question, problems like this can be as hard to diagnose as they are to live with. It sounds like you may have some intermittent electrical issue. This will require a skilled technician that has the knowhow...
Ignition tumbler stuck and needs replacement.
Answered by Andrew
The tumblers are part of the ignition switch assembly on these vehicles. This part must be replaced as a unit. This particular part malfunctioning is a common problem on late 1990's Mercedes Benz products. Have a mechanic who is familiar...
Key won't turn in 1996 Mercedes-Benz E320
Answered by Andrew
If the key wont turn normally try to jerk the steering wheel side to side while turning the key. If this does not free up the ignition then the ignition switch is likely the cause. When tumblers inside the ignition...
I need to fix an engine light indicator problem.
Answered by Andrew
A Check Engine Light could mean hundreds of different things. The first thing I would recommend is to have a qualified professional inspect the Check Engine Light (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/check-engine-light-is-on-inspection), they will use an OBD2 code reader to find which code has...
