Our car, Subaru Legacy 1997, had on and off starting problems for several months. Suspected clutch safety switch. Aidan found out the car needed only clutch adjustment to make the switch work. Great relief, as we had a previous repair estimate for complete replacement of the ignition lock and wiring.
