Answers to common Mazda R100 questions

Q: My vehicle is awd was towed on a tow dolly from the front is awd something snapped off from rear axle and leak oil how bad is the
Answered by Andrew
Based on your description, I do not think that the vehicle was placed in neutral before the tow took place. If the vehicle is all wheel drive, this likely caused severe damage to the rear axle and possibly the transmission....
Q: Variable tumble control system, not really sure how to pinpoint what I need to do. Someone told me I need a new spark delay valve

There is a Mazda Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) involving the Variable Tumble Control System (VTCS) on your model. The issue in the TSB involved the mitigation of noise caused by the system and that mitigation involved re-programming of the controls....

Answered by Spencer
Hello there, many faults can cause a rough idle and the Check Engine Light to be on with your 2007 Mazda 3. The first course of action would be to check what code is stored (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/check-engine-light-is-on-inspection) in the ECU. This...

Trusted by thousands of happy car owners

Tom went above and beyond to make me as satisfied as I could be. His communication was excellent. Friendly and professional and best if all, my car is running great and he did it without unnecessary repairs. I would and will highly recommend Tom and Your Mechanic to everyone. Thanks, Rob Miller.

I have to say I am totally satisfied with the service performance and Bernard is quite professional offering details of the work which was completed. I will definitely utilize your service in the future and will recommend to family and friends.

I have to be honest, this was the first time that, I have EVER felt 'at-ease' around an auto mechanic. Jonas was thorough and straight forward with me about the issues; gave me a quote directly after doing the diagnostics on the car and, as it turned out, it cost me less than the original estimate. When does that ever happen with auto repairs ?? He was friendly, informative and knowledgeable. You folks made the whole experience convenient and painless. I'm "sold" on the "Your Mechanic" concept. I'll probably never take my car again to a traditional mechanic !! Jonas was a pleasure to deal with !
