Very friendly professional guy. Down to earth. I'm not too sure if he saw in my original quote that I had the part but needed the wiring because he didn't necessarily bring wiring and the connector needed to complete the job but he did ultimately head to a nearby parts store and get what was needed. Job handled, completed, done.

Answers to common Jeep Commando questions

Q: I have 1971 jeepster commando that keeps getting really hot quick. Thermostat changed new radiator hose and new coolant
Answered by Tim
Hi there. It's likely that the radiator is the actual problem. Over time, the interior of older radiators will corrode and cause rust and other materials to break off and cause obstructions inside the coolant system. This can impede the...
Q: The driver's side block is getting hotter than the other side
Answered by Victor
Hi and thank you for contacting YourMechanic. Most likely what is happening here is that the water jacket in your engine on the right side is obstructed and not allowing sufficient coolant to circulate causing the left side to become...
Q: Buick odd fire. Hot on one side
Answered by Marvin
Hi there. This could be a timing issue with the ignition retarded. The cylinders are getting too hot with the timing out of adjustment. Try advancing the timing (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/adjust-ignition-timing). If you are unable to advance the timing, then you will...

Trusted by thousands of happy car owners

I have to be honest, this was the first time that, I have EVER felt 'at-ease' around an auto mechanic. Jonas was thorough and straight forward with me about the issues; gave me a quote directly after doing the diagnostics on the car and, as it turned out, it cost me less than the original estimate. When does that ever happen with auto repairs ?? He was friendly, informative and knowledgeable. You folks made the whole experience convenient and painless. I'm "sold" on the "Your Mechanic" concept. I'll probably never take my car again to a traditional mechanic !! Jonas was a pleasure to deal with !

Jason is knowledgable, reliable and friendly person. He took his time to explain things about my car. I highly recommend YourMechanic and Jason's service.

Whitney went above and beyond in solving my issues. Extremely friendly and extremely professional! Thanks, Whitney!
