Duy was incredibly fast, friendly, and gave me updates on his arrival time which was super convenient. While he was working I was able to ask him questions unrelated to his work, and now I know my car does sound and look okay! Bank 1 Sensor 1 on a 1997 Ford F-150 sucks trying to replace. Alex got to my home early and knocked out the job way quicker than I thought. Overall, great experience and very convenient. I'd choose him again.
Ever since my dad died in 2007 (he was an ASE master mechanic), I have been skeptical of who works on my vehicles. Well, I decided to give yourmechanic a try and couldn't be happier. They sent Alex Whitelaw to change my differential fluid and put on a new differential gasket and cover. Within the first 10 minutes of talking to him I could tell he was very knowledgeable as a mechanic and I watched how he took pride in what he was doing as well as he took the time to explain everything and why. I was so happy with my experience I booked an appt to have my spark plugs replaced in my 2004 F150 a month later. Just google it, it's not an easy task as they have a tendency of breaking. Alex came out on Monday and soaked the plugs with solution and came out the next day and was able to get all out but 1 from breaking off. Once the one that had broken off was completely out (done on the sameday he was here), you could see the rust and build up on it, so that explains why. Again, Google it...Well, my truck is running like a top and I couldn't be happier. I'm glad I found a mechanic that I trust and plan on having him continue to do any future maintenance to mine as well as my wife’s car. Do yourself a favor and try yourmechanic and be sure to ask for Alex Whitelaw. He brings his knowledge and skills to you, in which you can't beat!

Mike installed the new CV axle on the passenger side of my car during this appointment. He was able to determine that only one of my motor mounts needed to be replaced (instead of 2) but that the part would have to come from Ford which he would pick up after Labor Day. The driver's side CV axle was stuck in my transmission and he would need more time to fix that at the next appointment. He offered to reschedule his next appointment but I was completely fine with waiting on that repair. I noticed that my car was running a bit smoother but the rattling of my motor mount was still pretty distracting and my car still had issues shifting gears.
The motor mount had arrived from Ford and Mike had it installed in less than 30 minutes in the parking lot at my work! He took it for a test drive and everything was running great so he did not need to replace the driver's side CV axle. He mentioned I would need to get it replaced in the near future (~10,000 miles). Driving my car without any loud rattling was a new and wonderful experience for me since I had been dealing with car issues for about 2 years at this point. It was like driving a brand new car! Unfortunately, after a few days, my car started to make a strange sound that I could tell was coming from the driver's side front tire so I believe I need to get that CV axle replaced after all. I am excited to be done with major car repairs soon and am grateful for all of Mike's hard work!
