Q: Window will not come down

asked by on February 22, 2016

My driver's side window will not come down.I can hear the motor going, but the window will not come down. I recently had the regulator and the motor replaced, so I am thinking the relay switch might need replacing, but I am not sure.

the engine turns over but wont start
You may have a distributor (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/distributor-rotor-and-cap-replacement) that is not giving off spark or the timing belt (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/timing-belt-replacement) or chain has jumped timing and the valves are hitting the pistons. Stalling at low speeds and idle.

Reduced engine power on GMC Envoy 2003
The issue you are writing in about is common enough that a specific diagnostic, namely a Reduced Engine Power Warning Light Diagnostic (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/reduced-power-light-is-on-inspection) is performed by technicians dispatched by YourMechanic. If you request that diagnostic, the responding certified mechanic will...
