Q: Q: Window stuck down

asked by on

My driver's side window is stuck down.

Hello! That is unfortunately a common issue that many owners of your particular vehicle face. The most common cause of window malfunction is a faulty window regulator, though in some cases, it will be a switch, or an electrical interruption, such as a blown fuse. I suggest that a technician check the voltages going to the window regulator. If the voltage goes to the window regulator, but the window does not operate, the regulator is likely at fault. YourMechanic can send a certified technician out to your vehicle’s location to inspect your inoperative window, and recommend the best path to repair.
