Q: Will an external/aftermarket TPMS system shut off the TPMS dash light 2014 Mitsu. Lancer, currently no TPMS system

asked by on February 20, 2018

I recently purchased a new set of rims and tires, my TPMS sensors stayed on the old set and now the TPMS light on the dash won't shut off I took my car in for a scan and sure enough the sensors are not there, I wanted to buy an external TPMS system that connects to my phone and monitors PSI and Temperature in real time will doing so rid the annoying light on the dashboard or would I need to install standard TPMS sensors in order to do away with the super annoying notification?

My car has 49000 miles.
My car has an automatic transmission.
