This could be any number of things ranging from a faulty starter relay to potentially a problem with the charging system such as a faulty alternator. If the starting is intermittent and does not require the car to be jumped the next time, it is likely not a charging system problem. I would suggest having a professional from YourMechanic come to your location to take a look at the vehicle.

Transmission defaults
Hi there. The problem you are having with your transmission 1-2 shift/2-1 shift could be a shift solenoid issue (https://www.yourmechanic.com/services/electrical-components-are-not-working-inspection). My car is spitting out coolant when I press on the gas w/ radiator cap on. What could this be?
You either have a leak, the car is overheating and/or there is exhaust leaking into the coolant causing the cooling system to be over pressurized and thence "leaking". To determine which of these issues is involved, I would suggest have...
EGR Valve or Mass Air Flow Sensor: Which is more likely for the poor startup and rough idling that I have been experiencing?
The codes do not necessarily implicate the EGR system or the MAF sensor as a multitude of other faults are as likely. Basically, the codes suggest there is too little fuel, or too much air, in the cylinder charge (the...
